Daily Hair Care Tips
Wash hair properly
- Following tips we might already know or some of them forgotten over the time.
- Some of them are shared by our family members, traditions or friends.
These are very effective techniques which we can follow on daily basis.
- If you have long hair then always brush your hair before wash to avoid unwanted breakage.
- Wash your hair at least thrice a week.
- Choose right shampoo (Doesn’t mean by popular brands, have to observe its effectiveness according to your hair category).
- Massage scalp in rounding manner while applying shampoo.
- Always user conditioner after using shampoo.
Oil care for your hair
- Apply hair oil gentle massage to stimulate your scalp and blood circulation for healthy hair growth.
- There is no specific brand mentioned here but you opt for Almond oil, Mustard oil, Coconut oil, Olive oil.
- Use your fingertips to apply oil at scalp surface and hair roots.
Brushing your hair
- Brushing your hair simulates blood circulation, and keeps your hair tangles free.
- For longer hair use wide toothed comb.
- Avoid comb on wet hair and gently brush your hair.
- Don’t be pushy with your hair, there is always a type of care for your type of hair which you need know.
- Cover your hair while going into extreme sunlight and extreme cold temperature.
- Try possible ways to protect hair from chlorinated water.
- Try not to share and use utilities such as brushes, comb, rubber bands, clips etc
Night hair care
- Before going to bed try to have few minutes of your time to brush your hair gently.
- Tie your hair with loose comfortable ponytail to avoid knots while sleeping.
- Always get enough and comfortable sleep to start new day with full of energy.
- Avoid using satin pillow while sleeping it can cause static build up.
- Always use cotton pillows.
Trimming and cutting hair
- Avoid splitting ends get haircuts and trimming whenever possible in Six to Eight weeks.
- If you have no time for parlor, do slight trim at home.
- Diet plays very important role for our whole body not only hair.
- Healthy diet includes sufficient minerals, protein and vitamins.
- Fish, Egg, Milk, Vitamin B12 rich food help in hair growth.
- Ignorance of diet can result hair fall, weak / unhealthy hair.
Home hair treatments
- Egg yolk mask, Hair spa, oil and deep conditioning treatments boosts hair health in many forms.
- Applying beneficial natural products like Henna, Almond, Amla, Reetha, shikakai.
- Above treatments can be applied on regular intervals.
- Always opt for either natural or branded products like Henna.
- Do not wash hair with shampoo at least 48 hours after coloring.
Hair growth supplements
- Biotin capsules (B12) can benefit in faster hair growth and recovery.
